Museum of Popular Art

Is sheltered in the palace of Andreas and his son Smith or Hadjismith Zimboulaki, who from the end of the 18th century even till 1864, they used to be the Vice-Consulates of England in Paphos.

The stone-built palace of Zimboulakidon, two-storied and large for the datas of its Epoch, constitute an excellent specimen of the Cyprus traditional architectural, during the 2nd half of the 18th century, and the beginning of the 19th century. The house been proclaimed, as an “ancient monument”, by the Antiquities Department, it been reinstated and converted to a Museum of Popular Art on 1978. There is exposed, a very reach ethnographic stuff from different areas of Cyprus.
